New York Times: Genocide In Iraq A Small Price To Pay For Ending Bush's War

...Iraq, and the region around it, could be even bloodier and more chaotic after Americans leave. There could be reprisals against those who worked with American forces, further ethnic cleansing, even genocide. Potentially destabilizing refugee flows could hit Jordan and Syria. Iran and Turkey could be tempted to make power grabs. Perhaps most important, the invasion has created a new stronghold from which terrorist activity could proliferate

The administration, the Democratic-controlled Congress, the United Nations and America's allies must try to mitigate those outcomes and they may fail. But Americans must be equally honest about the fact that keeping troops in Iraq will only make things worse.

So is it going to be genocide if we stay, if we leave? Who's fault will that be?

4. Well they are saying it is a small price to pay
How can that be anything but endorsement??? The NYT's said Genocide is a small price to pay for us leaving Iraq, apparently the NYT's is willing to pay the price of Genocide.........If you are willing to pay the price of genocide you are saying it is better than any other alternative, you are endorsing the genocide.............It's really not hard to understand.

8. It IS an ongoing genocide since day 1. Where have they been?!?
The only price that should be paid should come from the very small bunch of neo-con warmongerers for profit who lied deliberately to the American people and the world so they could enrich themselves and their "contributors" with the taxpayers' national credit card and gouge them at the pump at the same time.

Now, who's gonna have the guts to do what's right first?

It IS a genocide.
It WILL CONTINUE TO BE a genocide, whether the troops STAY or LEAVE (<= may be to a lesser "degree").

Who should pay?

Hint to the NYT: The Liars (PNAC & CO).

10. The NYT enabled Bushler's genocide from the beginning.
A classic example is the neocon-esque title of this article.
