| And now they have claimed "executive privilege". |

What complete and utter bullshit.
As long as there is a subpoena or warrant, the enforcement of that, ought not be any different than any other person being subpoenaed before a congressional committee.
To give the President special rights is wrong.
It has been, and it will continue to be.
It will be just as wrong when the next Democratic President does it, if there should be one.
That's why I say we ought to create a pledge for the candidates to sign, much like the tax payers pledge thingy.
It will be a moment of truth. Either they will have to defend executive privilege and come out in favor of it, or they will have to recognize what evils it has brought to our country and come out against it.
"If I should be elected President of the United States of America, I shall not claim executive privilege or any other term synonymous with that one, if I should be subpoenaed by a Congressional committee or if it should be necessary for a civil or criminal investigation of myself or my administration.
This is not to be construed to be a pledge to give up the normal rights of an American citizen to due process under the United States Constitution, it is only a pledge to refuse to claim executive privilege."

| 1. The Supreme Court has set a precedent |
|
the denied President Clinton executive privilege and had to testify, not just submit papers, he had to testify under oath at a trial. So if they denied a President the right of executive privilege in a civil case, then why would they not have to deny bush and cheney executive privilege when it comes to such high crimes.

| 5. That was BEFORE Scalito and Roberts. Remember.. they are on the court for a REASON...to help these |
|
THUGS further their agenda. There's no way in hell this current SCOTUS is going to vote against the psychos who put them on the bench. It's just NOT going to happen. Precedent will mean NOTHING to those assholes. It would be another 5-4 vote in favor of the THUGS. Remember who we're dealing with here. Scalito and Roberts were chosen from the Federalist Society and GROOMED for this. This is what they've been foaming at the mouth to do....and will. They will support the thugs.
