Get This: "Christie Blasts Rudy on WTC Air"
Edited on Sat Jun-23-07 01:23 PM by whereismyparty
Little Miss "The-Air-Is-Safe-To-Breathe-The-Water-Is-Safe-To-Drink" former EPA chief Christie Todd Whitmann is trying the blame game as a defense for her indefensible actions in ensuring the deaths of countless Americans. She's scheduled to testify to Congress next week. Will somebody please throw this bitch in jail where she belongs? And while they're at it, throw Rudy, GWB and Cheney there as well!!!

"Christie blasts Rudy on WTC air
BY ADAM NICHOLS
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Former Environmental Protection Agency boss Christie Whitman says she urged Ground Zero workers to wear respirators, but then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani blocked her efforts.

She also said city officials didn't want EPA workers wearing haz-mat suits because they "didn't want this image of a city falling apart."

In an interview scheduled to run the day before Whitman testifies in front of Congress on Monday, she told WNBC-TV she warned the city of the risks almost every day.

And she said she believes illnesses killing first responders can be blamed on the city's lack of action...

1. Put her and Rudy in a room and bug the conversation. But me, I suspect
that she's mixing truth in with excuses.

Yes, she should be the subject of thousands of lawsuits. Or one big class action lawsuit. But that would be in a perfect world.

2. All part of the GOP's 'you're on your own' ideological jag
They've ALL swallowed the kool-aid. The country knows better this time around. Even R's in KS have bolted the party; now Bloomberg is trying this tack. All the smart ones will bolt leaving the "hard core" of idiots, and the rest will disassociate themselves.

Who's going to be left under the big top tent ? Only the Elephants.

3. She's been saying this for awhile, in one form or another. It's getting
more play now because Mister "I Wear My Wife's Clothes" is running for President.

I heard her talk about this a long time ago. Shortly after she left her job at EPA, in fact.

This isn't a new theme on her part....FWIW.

4. It won't affect Rudy's support at all. Because those people are ipso facto irrational.

11. Don't say "bitch". She's not a nice person. But don't say bitch.
When you put down a woman for being disagreeable with that word, you're helping to create a culture where women in general are put down for being disagreeable.

13. Christie has already been held in contempt.
She was held in contempt by a judge when she was head of the Dept of Interior which includes the Bureau of Indian Affairs, because of a judgment in a class action suit in which the BIA had not paid billions of dollars in mineral leases on Indian lands since the 1800s, which they had contracted to. The Court ordered the Bureau to pay those billions of dollars, I believe.

Don't know why her ass wasn't thrown in jail.
