Well ... that means they didn't sanitize it too much. Good.

2. Worthwhile watching
Might give you a different impression of the inside game in the Pentagon. Kean is pretty blunt and honest. He promotes the surge, knowing full well it is far too little far too late.

Says Rumsfeld's strategy was "light footprint" and Dems were wrong seeking his ouster because he shared their strategy. New leadership pushing hopeless surge. It's all utterly hopeless.

What I want to know is why did all these idiots get promoted past private.

"why did all these idiots get promoted past private"
They were chosen because of their party loyalty and their ideological purity. What, you think having generals who know how to fight and stuff is more important than their yes-man skills? Sheesh.

:sarcasm:

8. We had no business ever being in there
and I can't believe any of these people are still defending it. They've seen how wrong it went, and how high the cost is in every way. They should know better. What the hell do they gain by defending a lost cause at this late date?

11. I believe they covered that in on of the other FIFTEEN (15) FRONTLINE's on the Iraq War.
I think "Private Warriors" (Jun. 21, 2005) did the most on that part of the story,

<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/warriors/>

<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/warriors/view/>

But there have been 15 other FRONTLINE's on the Iraq War, something like 20 if you include the Afghanistan/bin Laden shows too.

Add the Short subject (FRONTLINE/World) films listed below, and you have
