Insisted it's not a political issue, in the sense that illness is apolitical.

Mentioned how low we are in infant longevity.

Says he's not scared about being prosecuted for going to Cuba, because he went to Guantanamo, which is U.S. territory. Haha!

8. I caught only the last 30 seconds of that segment with Michael Moore.

I watch Oprah occasionally when I find it interesting and it's not a guilty pleasure. I realize that there is some snobbery about watching her, but Oprah is popular and influential with millions of regular Americans, people who vote and whose vote counts as much as mine does. She helps more people and makes the lives of more people better in a single year than most of us would in a lifetime. Anybody who is smart would want to be on Oprah if they had an important cause, message, or candidacy. After all, Al Gore was on Oprah last year. Plus, Oprah kind of likes one of our Democratic presidential candidates.

If not, I won't. I don't watch Oprah just because she is Oprah. By the same token I do not refuse to watch Oprah just because she is Oprah.
