8. Good plans but I think more needed

Don't want to belittle any plans to get progressives together --
It's been damned stupid that in all this time progressive groups don't do it.

On the other hand, I think reacting in September to something that happened in May is a bit off key.

There has to be a strong response to Demoocrats and an attack on the "Conservative Democratic Leadership" which, btw, was set up by Clinton and Gore!!!

Right now, Bush has a win, win, win situation --
He got his money -
He has no restrictions -
Not even a tepid warning about Iran --
AND, he's split the Democratic Party!!

What role did Emmanuel and Hoyer play in the deal making?

I've heard some news today which suggests that a lot of Democrats are filling out new cards as "independents."

We have a run-away presidency which we and the Democratic Party seems to be saying they can do nothing about.

I think we all have to begin to act individually, while waiting for September.

And, that is only in non-violent, legal ways to protest.

Is dragging everyone down to Washington, DC a good idea anymore?
To protest before empty buildings? I've never quite gotten that reasoning.
What about the 13 original states and letting people come out to their own capitals.
This may have to be worked from the grassroots up. Via town councils, town meetings, state meetings.
