My 13 year old autistic son rode a bicycle today.
It was the first time he was able to ride without training wheels. He doesn't know how to brake yet (reverse pedalling), but he is steering the bike on his own, and starting the ride without assistance.

I cried when I got the phone call about it.

2. It took me till I was 9 to ride without training wheels
It's my motor and coordination deficits. I was delayed in being able to tie my shoe and button shirts, as well. I still have trouble buttoning some shirts.
