Was thinking earlier about all the poor families
who suffered (and probably still suffer) as result of Bettelheim's 'teaching' about autism. Learned that one of my law school profs was one of those.

1. This BS has no doubt hurt many people!

His theory in a nutshell,

" the theory that autistic behaviors stem from the emotional frigidity of the children's mothers "

If anything, I feel too much, for others and for myself.
