This is a 30 second ad I created for the John Edwards campaign's My Vote, My Voice Youtube contest. It was created using pictures from the campaign's flickr site and Windows Movie Maker

I was inspired to create a video encouraging Americans to stand up and take their country back by the Dropkick Murphys song "A Few Good Men", which I felt reflected perfectly the spirit of the Edwards campaign. I had hoped to use the song in the video, so I twice asked permission from the band's manager to allow it. After waiting four days for a reply, I decided to submit the video. Just as I was logging on to do this, I noticed a reply in my inbox which unfortunately denied me permission to use the song, so I had to go back to the drawing board. After much searching on various royalty-free music sites, I found something I could live with and remade the video.
