John Edwards great speech was bumbed off the news by the hostage situation at Clinton headquarters. He gave an important speech, and it is good to have a place people can watch it! This is a speech nobody should miss.

11. I don't like to over-state the case, but I'm beginning to think something

very fundamental has shifted.

Change? We'll see what's made of what has happened.

But, I do think the whole thing about how "we" came to kill tens-of-thousands of people who didn't need killing has shifted the "average" consciousness. They see the War and what is costing and they see the $alarie$$$$$$$ around them in their own lives and they see how screwed up everything is = we can't even count on our own jobs. They've got health care problems, BIG ones, and many of them now have mortgage problems. And not only do they daily hear in national media about golden-parachutes for people who essentially fucked whatever it is that creates our jobs, they can also look not very far away from wherever they are to see salaries and benefits that are NOT comensurate with value added to whatever enterprise they are in. In short, they're becoming very aware of the size and extensions of "the good old boy network".

... it does seem to indicate that they figure it aint over yet, and it aint down to Senators Clinton and Obama yet.

And if Romney tries to run on "We Already Have One America", against Edwards "I will help you build One America again" ... Romney's message may sound nice in the corporate boardroom, but in the ballot box in today's economy, Romney's message would go down in flames.

How proud I am for this man, and for his family. I hope one day I get the chance to thank his parents for doing such a wonderful job raising JRE with his strength of character, his love of country and it's people, and also lovely Elizabeth for her love and understanding for sharing her husband with the people. The Edwards are the sunshine in my life on a cloudy day. Great speech, one of his strongest yet.
