Remember your Bible. Israel gets it's home. Rebuilds it's temple (after knocking down the third holiest Muslim site in the world). World war III starts. Oh wait I forgot before the war starts all the good Christians that got this ugly war started get "raptured" to heaven. The rest of the would gets to fight the third world war for the left over seats in heaven.

So you see, it would really not be in the best interest of someone who was "hearing" the "words" straight from God into his ear if God was keeping with that 19th century idea of the rapture of the fundamentalists to get peace in the mid east. No war. No rapture.

We can always hope God didn't read that particular interpretation of the Bible and is keeping with his original plan which never mentioned any "rapture." But we would still have to convince the guy who is "hearing" God .

Or maybe Bush was just bullshiting the Religious Fundamentalists to get elected just like he would lie to his own mother to get an extra 1000 bucks for party night.
