Here's to the land you've torn out the heart of,
Dick Cheney, find yourself another country to be part of

I hope this lifts your heart as it lifted mine.

1. Eddie does a great job, but God we could
also use Phil Ochs right now.

3. So true!
He is missed. Thank goodness someone is still listening and sharing his music.

6. I forgot to add, thanks so much.
I don't get choked up too often, but this did it to me - part of it is because I am heartbroken that whether it is "the state of Mississippi" or the "state of Richard Nixon" or "the state of Richard Cheney" songs like this have to be sung again and again - and part of it is because I am thankful that there are men and women like Ochs and Vedder to sing them every time we need to hear them.

9. My joy.
Thanks for understanding it. We'd be friends if we lived in the same part of the country, I'm sure. Aloha.

7. Witt Wisebram is another
musician who has revived this particular song. Look him up, he's good.

2. Wow AWESOME!!
That guy introducing him is Tomas Young. He is from here in KC. Tomas was injured in Iraq the same day Casey Sheehan died. Phil Donohue just made a movie about Tomas.

Love that song. Go Eddie Veder!!
