I love the way Al Gore shoots down the balanced-reporting crap.

Still "no plans" to run...And still no definite denial either.

2. If he's going to run he better hurry it up
There's not a lot of time left. Maybe he'll run as an independent?

3. He sincerely didn't look very interested in running.
I would love for him to run but it just doesn't seem like he wants that position. Maybe he has had his fill of politics. DC is a rough town for these guys.

To the Assholes who don't care about destroying everything so you can consume and build and do whatever in the hell YOU want to do, I just have one thing to say:

FUCK YOU. You are self-serving narcissistic fools and there is no point arguing with you.

12. The ignorance is amazingly pervasive
I find it remarkable how many people buy the "climate change is nonsense" crap. It is partially the media's fault but it is partially the fault of powerful rightwing organizations that are pushing for oil and ignornace for sake of profits.

13. Too many people don't care if they live in a polluted world.
These are the same people who play video games, pimp their rides, throw garbage out their windows and spend all their time in shopping malls and movie theatres. What do they care about nature and fresh air? It will only affect them if they are in the path of a natural disaster that is the direct result of climate change... Maybe then they will learn to respect something more than human enterprise, but only after the rest of us have worked our asses off to counteract their stupidity.

9. Balanced reporting does not mean "fact" and "fiction"
Someone tell Fox. What will they do for programming? I've got it! Fox Sports Entertainment Court Television

That should keep them plenty busy, and the rest of the networks can do actual NEWS!!

10. The problem is that most journalist do not know the difference between reporting and editorializing.
Facts, and the reporting of them can not be "fair" or "balanced" since reality is neither. Saying what happened is what reporters do, by simply relaying the information and that is it.

The editorializing process, in which people get to express their opinions, then yeah... it can be balanced because it is a subjective area.

Most journalist can't tell the difference between the "news" section of a news paper and the "opinion" column. For example, FOX News should be really be named FOX Editorial, or FOX Opinion. Because they do not report on the news, the comment on them. Two veeeery different concepts.
