Donna Edwards is a progressive Democrat running for Congress in a primary in Maryland against incumbent Democrat Al Wynn, who voted to authorize the Iraq War and to repeal the Estate Tax.

I gave her campaign $100.

1. Mind you, to be fair, after she nearly beat him last time
He signed on to the Cheney impeachment bill.

2. Bad AD
Sorry, but people will only remember Al Wynn when seeing that ad. When promoting yourself, you cannot give the opposition more face time than your own. She needs to cut down the wordiness. If she wants to have his face up there, she needs to put a circle with a slash through it, to show that he's bad, and make it red, so it shows up.

You have to show that some one is bad in these ads as well as saying so. People tend to do things during commercials, and they have to see visually that this is a bad guy as well. Grab them while they are on the way to the fridge.

3. That's true if it's a TV ad.
If it was just put on the web, intended for people who are already supporters, then it's a fine ad.
