1. It's not an amendment.

The requirement that a President be a natural born citizen is in the original part of the the Constitution, it was not added later.

I was just about to post that the requirement to be a natural born citizen WAS drafted by "our wise founding fathers" and placed in Article II, Section I, when I noted that Devlzown had it covered.

4. Natural Born Citizen

Wouldn't John McEnroe be able to run for president in this country? Even though he was born in Germany, wouldn't he still be an natural born American citizen in that his parents were American? Wouldn't he just have dual citizenship?
