1. Amen. That about sums it up...
And todays Talking Points Memo headline and article about Democrats still figuring out what do do with the OWS protestors shows just how true this is. What a (with a few exceptions) craven bunch of self interested, opportunistic, exploitative bastards the Democratic party has become.

The gist of it seems to be "How do we get mileage out of and support from these people, but without our buddies in the DC media corps saying mean things about us in their editorials and at cocktail parties?"

They've beend doing it to an ever increasing degree for the last 10-15 years. And they've got many out there (and especially here on DU) who want to help them continue to get away with it.

4. It will make Obama's job easier
He can have just one fund-raising booth in lower Manhattan, half inside the building for the bankers to donate, and with the other half of the booth out in the street, where people can HOPE he will do something good with their CHANGE.
