On September 8th, President Barack Obama introduced his plan to create jobs and curb unemployment; The American Jobs Act.

A tough road lies ahead for the American Jobs Act, with Republicans lining up against it and some conservative Democrats publicly expressing concerns. But behind the political chatter there is a bill and whether you like it or not it is important to know what’s actually in it.

1. "That's now who we are" is a rather pathetic argument.

Would you vote for someone whose argument was as weak as that?

He could have evoked patriotic pride pointing to the American traditions of taking care of each other in times of crisis.

Obama needs new advisers and especially a new economic team. His plan is almost as pathetic as the arguments he seems to be using to try to sell it.

He does not sound sincere to me, not at all.

Sorry, all you guys who think that Obama walks on water. This particular part of his speech was not up to speed.
