8. He is an amazing man

So prolific, so well-studied and very ambitious. When you factor in his age he becomes all the more magnificent for his accomplishments. He is the only former president I can imagine grieving for.

What a great man. And he acts like a real Christian, not one of those shameless fools masquerading as one on the tube today. He genuinely wants to help people. He is critical of the administration now, but does not attack personally. His criticisms are always right on too.

I have just got a jolt. A report that Gore won't run because he doesn't want to oppose Clinton. I hope it isn't true. It doesn't make sense. If Gore is as passionate about the environment, only he can lead the whole world to stop global warming. It's not a matter of friendship or gallantry.
