Thom's knowledge shot down every point he made. Even so, it's like arguing with any other partisan hack: Every time you smash them to bits on a point they made, they just move to another point and hope for the best.

More than anything though, I wonder: If someone can abandon a claim and substitute another, and another, and another: What does that say about the ideology being pushed, or the person's belief in it. I get the impression he doesn't passionately believe it, but is acting in the role of a paid shill.
