Find out how the most spectacular cherry pick in the history of scientific argument is just part of a day's work for the professional deniers.

1. I was just going to search for a Climate Denial video and here it is..
I have to say that these get better and better as time progresses, and I hope that the sheeple learn to follow the advice of Peter Sinclair and actually read the references and determine what is actually conveyed, instead of trusting the idiots to interpret the message for them.

It's all good.. Obama just announced more Oil drilling in Alaska!, and Tom Vilsack has condemned 39 counties to the ravages of GMO and free money. http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/05/09/idUS226004588820110509

Nevermind developing Water as fuel.. We gotta keep the Tractor companies alive at all costs! After all, they build the tanks, and spread the fertilizers that are made from oil after all.

Unless of course they are going to hire millions of Americans to plant these "Biofuels" which is now the preferred method of naming GMO crops.

I want a fucking electric tractor!

All the huge mining trucks used by industry are diesel-electric, so why can't we make one for the farmers? Why are trains running diesel electric if it isn't the most efficient use of the fuel? Aren't Diesel-Electrics vehicles considered hybrids?? How long has the diesel-electric train been around?

I hope the above questions actually serve the purpose to wake up the people into to seeing how we've been screwed by the status quo and our forced addiction to wasteful technologies that gotta go.

Infortunately, it appears that our Corporations are more interested in building their own bunkers than actually saving humanity, which may be wise, considering how frighteningly stupid Americans are these days.

6. Peter, watch this video:

Naomi Klein's Addicted to Risk TED talk. The segment on Canadian oil sands begins about 14:30 in. I'm pretty sure Grinchie was talking about the monster dump trucks used to strip mine oil sands.

The issue of oil sands and the concurrent carbon output are only part of Naomi's talk; but, a major part. There are other sources on the environmental dangers of strip mining tar sands; but, the visuals with this talk have more visual impact.

5. Well,
US citizens are 'stupid' by design. The uber wealthy want a workforce educated only enough to insure large numbers of compliant and gullible sheeple, which is why they usurped public education just prior to St. Ronnie's reign. Cognitive dissonance prevents a sizeable portion of our nation from using the internet to do independent research and come to their own enlightened conclusions. The fact that a large percentage of our adult population is functionally illiterate doesn't help either.

Since we now live in exponential times, we are experiencing the inception of our demise, even as we blog about it. We're too late to stop global climate change, and must 'go along for the ride.' We are also witnessing the MIC and energy cartel pulling out all stops to guarantee we'll continue our insane addiction to oil, coal, and nuclear energy--all of which fatally pollute our planet every second of every minute of every day of every week of every month of every year that we exist.

The fact that SOME of us are aware of these realities simply makes this discussion all the more poignant. I have said hereinbefore that I'm glad I'm in my twilight years. I know that's selfish of me, but I've spent 38 of my 55 years on this planet as an activist--often ridiculed and belittled by family and friends--and I still feel as though talking to that wall over there would have been just as productive.
