1. thom is probably the smartest guy out there
fighting for human rights. He seems to do more reading/research/ studying then anyone out there. Almost comes across like a professor. Its funny listening to some of those right wing guys come on his radio show. They try and get all the talking points out there and his knowledge on the issues usually makes them stumble & sometimes they agree with him without trying.

2. I agree, and he consistently comes up with interesting angles on what's going on....
...that I find intriguing. I don't watch him every day but I'm grateful for people posting links to his videos at DU.

I find myself amazed by it at times.

14. He is so well prepared that he can
shove a stick into the spokes of any reichwing argument. The ensuing pratfalls are usually hilarious and sad at the same time.

3. I've only lived in two other countries..
Besides the U.S. so I am limited in my knowledge of other societies. However, years ago before anyone was talking of income inequality one of the things that struck me like a bolt of lightening was that in those other two countries the rich weren't as rich and the poor weren't as poor. It was one of the first things out of my mouth when people asked me about my time in other countries. It just made for an entirely different feeling in everyday life. I never felt threatened and I never felt out of place. Society was just better. I'm sure there are others on this board that have experienced the same thing.

7. great vid
the great difference in wealth between the rich and the poor creates an environment of dehumanizing opportunities where the desperate poor will do almost anything for survival and the where rich have little value for the lives of others

9. It's unbelievable how many useful idiots think this inequality is good for them.
Otherwise it's Government Wealth Redistribution and Taking from Hard Working People to Give to Lazy People and Socialist Marxist Communist Stalinist and Other Bad Sounding Things!!!!

They're actually convinced. Still. Even now.

Incredible.

11. Exactly,
Hartmann touches on the 'upward mobility' that so many GOPers are waiting for (lottery ticket would be better odds). They really think they are the next Billionaire. Maybe so, but it seems if you are that lucky, you might be short one soul in the process!

12. TH needs to be on MSNBC...if he'd take it.
I love RT and Free Speech and listen to his radio program, but he needs a bigger audience.

15. I love Thom, and I feel guilty
because every time I watch his show, I get angry. I am a heart patient and honestly, I do not watch him near as often as I used to. We never act on the truth. Thom points this out daily. I get so damned frustrated... THANKS THOM. We have talked live in your show, and I enjoyed it.
