MSNBC The RACHEL MADDOW Show - April 27, 2011: Rachel compares corporate anonymous-funded fake grassroots attacks over the budget vs. real angry national reaction to the Republican budget plan. Guest is Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont. Sanders lays it on the line about Citizens United and what is coming up as we get closer to the election:

"What the Ryan budget is about is the most RADICAL right-wing extremist budget ever passed in the history of the United States Congress. This would transform America by giving a trillion dollars more in tax breaks to the richest people in this country, already doing phenomenally well, while in the middle of a recession, when working people, low-income, middle-class people are hurting, it will DECIMATE program after program after program... It is a total disaster.

So, what you're seeing is people just hanging on right now. And if the Republicans cut these programs to give tax breaks to millionaires, there will be enormous suffering.

I was in Morrisville, Vermont last night and a woman, she raised her hand, she said - she asked a very simple question - she said 'What do they think is going to happen to people when they do all of these things?'

And I'll tell you what will happen to people, people will die...

4. Told people before the election that this might be the last election before corporate plutocracy

takes over due to Citizens-United decision and the republican wealthy lobby/media buys and lies America...turning us into a 3rd world nation working for slave wages and no benefits while deregulated corporations destroy the earth. Baut no...they were so angry at Dems and many 'believed' republicans. Where are the jobs Boehner?...Cantor...where is the trickle down? The last congress passed major reform only to have a minority in the senate filibuster everything so nothing gets fixed. Dems never had control of the senate...not when it takes a super majority to pass anything. Our destruction comes from within as wealth and corporate power privatize and erode the institutions of democracy. They tell us US corporations have the highest tax rate in the world but neglect to mention they don't pay that amount...and most pay none at all while getting back money from the IRS...then they cut the IRS budget so they don't have the manpower to collect the over $34 billion currently owed them as they demand more spending cuts while refusing to do a thing about collecting revenue for the treasury.

Dems only pick up guns for defensive posturing but look how bad things will get before they feel the need to. Wearing the chains will be the last resort. But how difficult will it be for people to ignore the massive propaganda sure to come from the republicans. They can if only they remember the past and just know that when republicans open their mouths they are lying. They have a long history of being wrong on everything dealing with the economy.

ONLY DEMAND CREATES JOBS...and demand is created by people having money in their pockets to buy things. Scream that at our republican goobers when they rattle on about "job creators"...ONLY DEMAND CREATES JOBS.
