3. You can actually get dumber listening to Orally trying to explain

social contract theory; one knows less at the end than going into it. It begins with Rousseau? What about Hobbes? Locke? I mean, the US version of the social contract was essentially an extension of Lockean theory, not a rethinking of Rousseauvian thought. And it's a little too complicated to get into, but Orally's ridiculous mishandling of surrendering rights for protection works for him ideologically, but it's a gross misrepresentation of the entire doctrine.

Bill needs to keep the hands off the google and try a class in political philosophy or intellectual history instead.
