2. I don't understand Japanese
But at the end of the clip it sounds like they get the driver on the phone. Can anyone confirm that?

6. You might not have a choice. The doors and windows might not open
with the water at that height. On Mythbusters they tested what happens when you submerge a car. The pressure of the water on the outside of the door prevents you from opening it until the pressure equalizes, which means waiting until the water level inside the car matches that outside. And it surprised them that they couldn't open the windows if the water pressed in on them. The pressure from the water was so great that it increased the friction of the windows on the window frames to the point they couldn't move. If the water didn't reach the window height, the driver might have been able to open them and climb out.

I was afraid the car might float out to sea as the wave receded. It's weird, but you have to hope the car leaked.

5. oh my god!!!! I just screamed and I'm sitting in front of my monitor
I cannot begin to imagine what the driver was thinking when that huge, black wall of water engulfed his car.
