PLEASE VOTE for David Pakman and his show to get a scholarship to broadcast from Netroots Nation, it takes 15 seconds: http://www.democracyforamerica.com/netroots_nation_scholarships/1167-david-pakman

And speaking of the Koch brothers, so that we have on one hand, these bills are popping up everywhere, Koch brothers have their hands tied in there, they're all involved, bills are identical, they all basically say the same thing, unusual vocabulary and phrasing that's the same in all of them. What else are the Koch brothers involved in? Well, it turns out that the Koch Industries, Koch Industries is employing a public relations firm to airbrush Wikipedia articles. And they're getting banned for what are called "sockpuppets", right? So sockpuppets are you go on there and edit under the guise of being an impartial editor, but really, you have an interest.

And this is according to, you know who it is, Louis, he was on our show last week and he's doing all the great reporting, Lee Fang from ThinkProgress. He says that New Media Strategies specializes in so-called "word-of-mouth marketing", some of their corporation clients are Coca-Cola, Burger King, AT&T. Ever since the NMS contract was signed with Koch brothers, one of their employees began editing the Wiki pages for Charles Koch, David Koch, Political activities of the Koch family, "The Science of Success", which is one of Charles's books, under the moniker of MBMadmirer, OK?

And NMS employees edited the Wikipedia articles to number one, distance the Koch family from the Tea Party movement. There's no distance there. Want to make it seem that way on Wikipedia, I get it. Provide baseless comparisons between Koch and conspiracy theories surrounding George Soros, and generally just to delete any citations to liberal news outlets. So any reporting that any liberal news outlet has done on the Koch brothers, and there's many of them, believe me, these hired sockpuppets are going through and deleting evidence of that from Wikipedia. And administrators flagged it. They figured it out on Wikipedia. They know what's going on.

Louis: Of course they do. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. You know, Kim Jong-il would be proud of these guys.

David: Exactly.

Louis: He would be very proud.

David: A subsequent sockpuppet investigation found that MBMadmirer is connected to a number of other dummy accounts, and some of them are owned by another NMS employee, Jeff Taylor. It is unbelievable that this is going on and it's incredible, actually, that the Koch brothers have a lot of money, so they maintain contracts with over a dozen PR firms and lobbying firms. So Wikipedia we all know is only the tip of the iceberg here, Louis, literally only the tip of the iceberg.

Make sure you're signed up for the bonus show, www.DavidPakman.com/membership. We'll talk about the movie "Mars Needs Moms" bombing, Iran using child soldiers, a lot more. Stay tuned, plenty more after this.

Announcer: The David Pakman Show at www.DavidPakman.com.

6. Help.

Help edit this article.

The sock accounts are trying to make baseless comparisons to Soros to minimize the Koch's involvement. Remove them if you see them. Contribute to the talk page. Edit the wiki so that it shows the connection between the Koch brothers, tea party, and the PR firm they hire to whitewash the page.
