2. Totally wrong.
Its' not Dem v. Pub. It's Business Owners/Wealth v. Workers.
They are trying to reduce us all to permanent lower-class status.
To be "thankful we have a job at all" even if it only pays minimum wage.
Read up on the Labor struggles of the early 20th Century - we're about to relive them.

If it were a party-thing, where are the high profile Dems?
Where's Al Franken? Where's DK? Where are the Democrats????
Crickets.

3. You should do an OP
I had the same feeling when I watched the piece by Maddow -- she's got it partly right though -- this is a strategy to weaken the Democrat's contributions and strength. But the ultimate goal is for all of us to submit to being peasants again.

4. Agree.
This is simply about the corporate takeover of America through and through.

It's interesting that business and the rich do not want to pay ANY taxes, and
states, cities, counties, and smaller local entities want the poor, working, and
middle classes to bear the brunt without considering the concomitant reduction
in spending power and social services.

I suppose the rich and corporate can buy their own emergency and health services,
and live off in their own armed and gated communities, but really they are living in
some kind of crazed cloud cuckooland thinking that societies can undergo that much
stress without some sort of reaction at some point... probably when people can no
longer afford their addictions and psychotropes. There's nothing like withdrawal to
fuel changes . . . .

7. I liked the shark reveal!
Very simple plan really. Kill Union money and all campaign finance is right wing.

Bake sales vs billionaires.

The FoxPac will keep misinforming and making shit up while the lack of funding means the truth doesn't get out from the left. No money for ad buys!

Great job Rachel Maddow!

11. Where is the Liberal NRA?
I'm a member of the NRA. In the last election, all of my Democratic candidates except one had high marks from the NRA. Three of them were the endorsed candidate.

The Democratic and Liberal cause could instantly convert the NRA into a massive lobbying arm for Democratic and Progressive causes simply by embracing the right to keep and bear arms! Overnight! I don't understand why this obvious wedge issue is not instantly negated and capitalized on by Democrats.

Secondly, where is the liberal equivalent of groups like the NRA? Why is it that there are so many conservative special interest groups willing to contribute collectively to progressive causes, but not progressive ones?

I just found this group via reddit a couple of days ago:
