In fact that footage was from before Obama was even elected. Actually that was from right when the financial crisis hit and McCain canceled his appearance on The Late Show.

happenings. A writer or L remembered that appearance and wrote the skit - or - they wrote the script and invited him to do it and then remembered they had film - or his contract says he can't compete - even appearing on camera (which assumes live) so he complies by not being rhere> No bs.

KO was on when John McCain canceled, said he was needed in D.C., but then Letterman showed live footage of him being made up for an appearance with Katie Couric. That's when Letterman went on about KO having a really big head... :crazy:
