1. our 30-year Mubarak reign has been an unshakable, pro-corporate ideology
...espoused by the right, kowtowed to by the center-rightists (i.e. "Democrats.")

It's run it's 30-year course. Time for regime change.

3. His most recent appointments were all very pro-business.
I was listening to a summary on Al Jazeera and they might as well have been describing the current Obama administration. Packed full of corporatists and crony business leaders who were supposed to be brilliant at creating jobs and economic growth. Of course, it was an utter disaster. Wonder if Immelt and Daley will fare any better?

2. The only place you can feel the trickle from the rich,
is to sit under a urinal in an upper-class country club and get splashed on.

The word, "trickle" is even mean-spirited and Potter-esque. Flow is what our energy, (in what ever form from concrete to abstract) does, in varying amounts. To whom does it flow and in what quantities, is the question.

5. Great summary --> leading to --> depression
Rachel, as always, does a great summary of the situation. And, unfortunately, as always, the Democrats lived down to their M.O.
We need a party that represents the people.
