1. Well, West certainly redefines the term "dickwad" . . .
"That's the kind of leader I am," he tells us. The fates preserve us!

Alternatively, perhaps West will go on a fact-finding tour to Afghanistan sooner rather than later. I'd advise aides against standing too close to this jerk when he does, though.

28. That's the Tea Party litmus test.
They are trying to out-stupid one another. It's sort of a stupid snowball effect and it's rolling down hill growing ever larger.

5. Notice how he doesn't apologize after being badgered?
He sticks to his guns, and people say, "we know where he stands. He has principles. He has convictions!"

That's what makes conservatives different from weenie Democrats like John Kerry and Richard "blubbering on the Senate floor" Durbin.

Notice how he is too dumb to realize he was just pwned.

"That's what makes conservatives different from weenie Democrats like John Kerry "

What? That conservatives are too thick to know they make no sense and know nothing?

They can keep that "virtue" all to themselves, thank you.

It is almost like talking evolution with a 'young earth creationist'. They see the fact that the theory of evolution changes over time as a weakness while that is, in fact, its' greatest strength. You know, with the creationist's bible being unchanging for all time.

6. Real stupidity hates smart people.
As obviously displayed by the absurd fool West.

BTW...Allen, Deary.... though Bush's squandering of the surplus into incredible debt that still, because of him, runs amok today, was astronomically stupid, that is not why people thought (think) Dubya was the dumbest man to sit in the Oval Office. It was because Bush cannot construct an English sentence with a subject and a predicate.

8. The incoming congressman just called into Joyce Kaufman’s radio show and told her.....
while she’s taking on the left in South Florida, he’II “fight them on the battle field in Washington DC.

“I’m even more commited, even more focused on making sure that this liberal, progressive, socialist agenda, this leftwing vile, vicious, despicable machine that is out there is soundly brought to its knees,” he said.

Kaufman pushed back against depictions of her as a gun crazy nut. After suggesting she wants to “exterminate” the left, she laughed and said, “I mean that in a pest control way…in a humane way, trap them and release them in their homes.

There is nothing left leaning that will ever be brought to its knees, and certainly not by the likes some of mediocre piece of shit like this freak.

All that time as a war criminal has fried his brain....Bush squandered the wealth of the nation and the lives of thousands of troops with his offensive wars. You can't beat sense into someone this stupid.

17. Hopefully this toad is one term & out.
Gore, Kerry, and Obama all carried his congressional district. The last Republican to represent his district was Clay Shaw, a mainstream conservative, not an extremist (and defeated in 2006).

From what I understand, Ron was threatened by this "man" and veared to the right in order to protect his job...

Let that be a lesson to democrats all over the country that you should stick to your guns, the people will respect you...

22. bush handing out plastic turkeys was somehow a first line deal?
Edited on Mon Jan-17-11 06:31 AM by rasputin1952
bush never once set foot in situation where he was in danger, nor cheney for that matter.

West commanded a Field Artillery Battalion in the current situation, then retired after 22 years of service. I can say he served, but under the circumstances, he was hardly first line himself. As for his Bronze Star, while there is no affidavit attached, a Bronze Star can be awarded for for noncombat reasons, or with a "V" device for valor under combat conditions. His Bronze Star does not have the "V" device, that implies that he did a good ob, but it's not like he was in hand to hand combat like he think s PO should have been.

promoted in the first place. No president would be put in the line of fire. Everyday this president has some threat is made against his life.

he is stepping into the line of fire.

There are numerous American Taliban who would act-out their fantasies if given the chance.

When has a sitting president ever entered an active combat zone? Been within range of enemy weapons? I know that Abraham Lincoln visited a fort or two where he could have been shot, but anyone since then?

34. I certainly wouldn't want a commander who deliberately puts himself as well as his soldiers
in harm's way.

The whole idea is to complete the mission with as little loss of life (and limb) as possible. Any commander who thinks his duty is to complete the mission by putting himself and the soldiers under his command in as much danger as he can is one I wouldn't follow.

I certainly hope that he is not subject to recall as a commander. He is not a leader.
