I'm former military, and a veteran, and I can tell you from personal experience that killing people isn't a pleasant pass time. It isn't something to joke about.

Finally, I am a liberal. the central doctrine of liberalism is individual rights. In a nation that encourages civil rights, there will be rich people and there will be poor people. The government's job is to make sure the rich do not trample the poor. They don't always do a bang up job of that.

But it will be a cold day before I advocate violence against the rich or anyone else.

I've never killed anyone and I do not plan on killing anyone.
That's the fundamental difference between people like you who have been trained to be a killer and people like me who would do anything to avoid killing someone... but what makes both human is that we are capable of killing regardless of training or inclination if we are threaten or provoked.
That's what makes us human, the ability to adapt to impossible conditions and survive.
You're a veteran. You trained to kill, I'll bet your damn proficient at it.
I would be lousy at killing; it would most likely be messy and painful and not very well thought out.
So you don't have to worry about "killers" like me, I would be easy to eliminate fairly quickly.
But that's the funny thing about revolutions, it involves a whole bunch of amateur killers killing professional killers.
That's how it done. It isn't pretty... in fact it's a tragedy. But like the little quote by one of our President's on the original post of this thread sums it up for me:
