How many times have you wanted to have a cop come in and check the license of your barber, with guns drawn and screaming at the barber cause ya got a bad trim. Hows that police state, tasting now.

18. In the stories I read about these raids it was mentioned that the barber shops were

the places where political issues were discussed and activists planned or disseminated information.

Since these raids started before the elections, it was speculated that the real purpose of the raids was to intimidate people to refrain from political activities and to keep people of color (usually Democrats) away from the polls.

10. I think this has more to do with conditioning the public to the presence of black clad armed to the

teeth police so that at some future date we'll simply not pay attention to their activities. Oh, it's just the police performing their duty, never mind. Meanwhile Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Addington, et al go free because we "need to look forward not backward."

You should come visit my all white rural Southern county. I'm sorry about your misfortune for having been born white, but if you wish, you may take some consolation against your self-loathing by knowing that no one asked you what color you wanted to be born.

25. My county isnt all white but it's a Southern mix of wealthy and poor

and rural white/black poor folk.
Although the white folks often tend to be meth-heads when you see SWAT going into 'trailer' in the backwoods it's the 1st thing we think of around here. The destruction to homes and families the SWAT do regardless of the reason they are there is frightening. That will give a person PTSD and a child PTSD towards police and maybe all authority figures for life.
The folks in poor rural counties all through America have their rights trampled on all the time, they accept poor living conditions, the jobs are gone, farms worthless and few outside of these communities have any idea what goes on within them. Or how much help they need.

It's a sad day in the USA when shite like this goes down.

of trouble finding where the swat team is busting in on white community gathering places, especially where it is known
that they gather and discuss political issues, and especially where they are spending so much in time and resources
arresting people for misdemeanors, especially just before an election. I am sure it is just a coincidence that this is in
a country where "the national incarceration rate for whites is 412 per 100,000 residents, compared to 2,290 for

Is this a progressive local-to-Orlando TV show? I cannot see who put this together. This is very, very frightening. Yes, notice these small businesses belong to people of color.
