That's how some of us put ourselves through grad school. Oh, the joys of having to work 80+ hrs weeks on a GSR salary that basically meant I was getting like half of minimum wage per hour... only to come home exausted get ready for a weekend at my in-laws (huge ditto-heads) to be reminded how "entitled" us grad students were.

Apparently to Mr. Limbaugh and Mr. Haggard's ilk making less than minimum wage for the "privilege" of using your brain for the betterment of humanity and the country (you know w/o scientist we are f*cked) makes you a liberal elitist. Whereas working 10 hr weeks just pulling shit out of your arse to a microphone or from a pulpit to make millions of dollars a year makes you an average blue collar worker.

So now that Mr. Haggard and his bunch of merry men have managed to dry up funds for research and education, now that some of us had to go through financial hell to get a degree, after my better half had to endure years of me seeing over stressed, over worked, and under paid. Now these assholes who were the poster boys of "fuck you, I got mine" now he is begging for money.

Hey, Haggar: FUCK YOU, I GOT MY PHD! Get a jobby job... J-O-B. TAships ain't that hard to obtain. Plus I am sure the half assed school you are going to get your joke "theology" degree will have no problem having you as the super-star student... LOL
