This was done the day after McCain announced Sarah would be VP candidate of choice for him.

She was doing read-ups or talk-alongs for what is called "racked" stories to be played later in the day. As she reads she asked her folks on the set if things made sense, something about Track's name and Trig's name.

There's nothing here but showing Katie being a critical reader of the material she has been given, and learning to pronounce words like Wasilla correctly.

Made me sick. He was denigrating Theodore Roosevelt, painting him as a commie.

I found the transcript. Here he is talking about the danger of Republicans actually admiring Theodore:

I'm no Couric fan, but I think she handled the whole thing just fine. This is a non-story, (which almost guarantees that the Fox News set will be flogging it from now until doomsday.)

I believe the term "attention whore" was used some time back to smear a woman who channeled her grief and focused her life on stopping an illegal war.

At least, we have someone who actually deserves the label. It's Sarah Palin, who's doing everything possible to keep herself in the news. She is a true attention whore.
