Hi DU.

My name is Hernan and I´m the owner of The Mike Malloy Gallery at Youtube.

On this video, Mike rants about these ugly republicans cutting unemployment benefits. What did you expect?

If you like it and want to see more, please subscribe to the gallery at:

1. Republicans Stick it to Us ? Really ?
I am no fan of the Republican Party.
But I do have to question: How is it that when WE (Democrats) have the majority that we can't get anything done for the middle class because of "Republicans". And when WE DON'T have the majority that we can't get anything done for the middle class because of "Republicans".

Don't even get me started on Gitmo.
This was NOT the change I signed up for.

Now by July 10th, TWO MILLION Americans , and their families, will begin going hungry . Because they have gone beyond their 26th week of unemployment in an era of mass unemployment not seen since The Great Depression. That number will increase by 1.2 MILLION Americans a month, every month thereafter.

What do you think will happen by November 11th?

2. Absolutely right, technogirl.
It seems the new Democratic party hides behind the GOP bullies. Even though we have a majority, "it's not big enough." What bullshit. When the GOP had the same size majority they were able to ram through all of the crap they wanted. Remember "nuclear option?" If the Democrats don't grow some balls soon, they will get creamed in November. I really don't think it has anything to do with "balls." It has everything to do with corporate money. As long as they let the "minority" defeat all decent legislation, they can blame it on the GOP and (they think) claim that they "tried", not piss the corporate masters off, and keep getting corporate contributions. Bullshit, they have a majority, use it or lose it...
It was the same shit when we had a "super-majority. That is why they lost that "super-majority", lack of accomplishments. The people tried to warn them by allowing Scott Brown to get elected. They haven't learned a thing...

3. When More Democrats See This The Way You Do, THEN We Can Begin To Create Change...
Edited on Sat Jun-26-10 02:09 PM by theFrankFactor
Many here are trying desperately to help others see that when Barack Obama and the Democrats took over they had tremendous potential. The ONLY reason for this failure is by CHOICE within deciding ranks of our own party. NOT Republicans!

4. It's the DLC
The Democratic Leadership Council has taken over the democratic party. The DLC used to proudly list their members on their website. The last time I viewed the website, during the '08 campaign, they had ceased listing their members and instead there were position papers from Hillary and a couple of other candidates for state wide office. Shortly after his inauguration Obama announced, "I'm a new democrat." Code for DLC. Like minded progressives should work diligently to form a "second" political party and throw the democrats under the proverbial bus.
