Some member of the right wing media are claiming that Obama's trip to NYC to congratulate local police officers for thwarting the recent terrorist attack is a backhanded way to say "thank you." This logic is obviously not based in reality, but it highlights something more important - within hours of the announcement that a car bomb had been found in Times Square, the GOP immediately began attacking Obama for being supposedly weak on security, even though they had no basis for these accusations. Mike Papantonio takes on the crew of Fox Business's Happy Hour to let them know which party is actually weaker on terror.

5. The foxy snoozy people...
...are more than just that stupid. They're paid to be that stupid. They aren't journalists, they're propagandists who know what side their bread is buttered on, and don't dare say anything contrary to Roger and Rupert's party line.

I just see them as Charlie McCarthys to Roger/Rupert's Edgar Bergen.

2. I'm a little upset with ol' Paps...
He should've corrected that guy at the end when he said the terrorists were in Iraq, then moved to Afghanistan - "they move around a lot". It was the other way around! There was never any terrorists in Iraq before Bush sent our troops there! That guy looks like a FOX drone who probably believes that Saddam was responsible for 9-11.

4. he got enough in..
at least the points I always stress to people who weren't paying attention back then,he did make a mistake probably due to to trying to get his points in when its 3 against 1 as usual.

Now the main guy who was talking the former cnbc wallstreet guy finally got his damn mouth shut for a change.I noticed how he wants to throw in the fact that he knew people in the towers,so he should be angry about PDB that bush didn't read.

No he was/is worried about the money he can get like he was when everyone found out in 2008 that their 3 card molly, slight of hand, slick oil salesmen bullshit began to be revealed to the world and the republiCON bush/cheney lovers who seem to want more.

Another thing Obama hasn't been in office 2 years it's only been 1 year and 4 months.

6. Why
Do the talking heads want to pigeon hole the issue the just the anti-terror budget in NYC? The defense of our nation from acts of terrorism requires a multifaceted approach on many fronts. Not only in Afghanistan but within our country itself. It is probably true than any complex terror plots won't work anymore against a more aware defense system. This is why the terrorists are resorting to small, simple individual attacks from small sleeper cells within the country. There are just too many moving parts in a complex attack for it to work anymore.

Shouldn't Republicans understand that throwing more money at a problem isn't going to solve it. You have to be streamlined and precise to stay with these terrorists. There's a difference between cutting funding and cutting wasteful spending.

7. When I see Peter King...
I know they will begin harping on terror, terror, terror and then we drift into why we can't hold the terror trial in New York when they always want to tell us how "these colors don't run" that's all they're about is slogans they just want the power of saying they are in charge and we need the great and mighty republicans to save us.
