'CNN/Lou Dobbs - Starting in Late March of this Year (2007) 150,000 Port Workers and Truck Drivers will be required to have an electronic Biometric ID in order to work. Within 18 months, all port workers and truck drivers nationwide will be required to have the new BIOMETRIC IDs. This will correspond to the National ID due to go into effect in May 2008 (REAL ID ACT).

So now the BIOMETRIC...'

1. There was an earlier article in the MSM...
...about implanting chips in Alzheimer's patients. Next, they'll be promoting these
chips to protect children.

Now, this biometric ID.

They get people accustomed to this sort of technology---which will ultimately be used
as tracking devices and to squash what personal privacy we will have left.

The Fundies are hoping that this will turn out to be the "mark of the beast". They
can't wait for their Biometric IDs.

2. there was a rather in-depth discuss on NPR today as to the hackable edges round...
biometrics; encoding/keying the data and such

one group says it is all peachy keen no worries, while another says that data, any & all data, is transferable even without knowing 'the key' initially which is itself subject to recovery from within the data itself

little doubt about it = the future is here today :):(:scared:
