3. Why does she speak with that cadence?
Its as if commas and periods don't exist to her. And then she goes all high-pitched at all the wrong times.

4. It's called cheating your college exams.
Hence why her communications skills are piss-poor. Why do you think she went to several colleges? Simple, to keep school officials from catching here. In a way that a fugitive on the run moves to another state in order to avoid recognition by not committing multiple crimes in one state.

6. $arah is amazingly difficult to listen to.
Not even because of what she says, which admittedly tends to be blindingly, mind-numbingly stupid. It's that horrific screechy voice - the timbre, the inflection, the accent, all incredibly irritating.

She reminds me of the "women" on right-wing radio - the Laura Ingraham types - who invariably have annoying, unpleasant voices. But $arah tops them all.

8. She is terribly grating
but I'd have to say that Michelle Bachmann trumps Sarah Palin for the most annoying voice. That's unless Victoria Jackson gets into the right-wing mainstream, then Sarah's only a close third.

11. I would have gone with Bachmann before that Southern conference $arah spoke at.
The "Hell no" part they keep playing is beyond belief. It combines screechy shouting with a kind of yodeling, where her voice breaks and suddenly goes way up high, then back to shouting. It's terrible to hear.

7. I had to bail a just under 4 minutes
She really is hard to listen to. Especially since I've heard it all before. She recycles her lines pretty shamelessly. This time it was the one about you having to work 100 days for the government before you start getting any money for you. Is that Why we pay taxes in April? And I don't get a paycheck until then? What if I lose my job in May?

Of course this is bullshit. Some Republican statistician observed that the top tax bracket is at 35% (and we're all in the top tax bracket, right?) roughly a third of their annual income. So let's just manipulate that statistic and turn it into a talking point. And it's just so unfair that millionaires should have to be paying taxes when they could be out creating jobs, right? I'm sure that the millionaire who cut my job along with 25% of the company workforce so he could get a bigger bonus would concur.

9. 35% federal income tax + state income tax + sales taxes = half, or more than half of one's income.

10. That's before tax breaks
The more money you have, the more likely you have stuff to write off. But if I were making a million bucks a year I think I could manage to scrape by on the 500 G's I'd have left after taxes- and I could be philosophical in the knowledge that I have roads to drive on, police departments to keep the riff-raff out of my neighborhood, and an army of lower class people to go and fight to protect my interests abroad.

13. I bailed at like 0:43 in
Why the hell do people like her? I have never figured that out. She's as stupid as anything. She's fake. I don't understand her appeal to people, and those who would vote for her in 2012 really scare me. I love the way she says "tea party" though I'm not sure if she said it in this video or not.

15. Republicans live in the Bizarro World
Everything is backwards there. They find her gratingly annoying voice and mannerisms "folksy". They like her because she's "one of them" and she says things they want to believe (e.g. "Global warming isn't real", "Smart people are stupid", "Obama is a terrorist", "War is good", etc).

Interestingly enough if I were to cut and paste your post- after changing the personal pronouns from "she" to "he" and so forth, and "tea party" to "health care"- I could post it on Free Republic in response to an Obama-bashing post and none of them would be the wiser.
