http://www.youtube.com/user/cheldemedo">cheldemedo: The end of a three-segment GOP hate-fest/campaign promotion thinly disguised as a news report from a Michele Bachmann rally with special guest Sarah Palin. Hannity deliberately roused the crowd by asking if they'd like to see a Palin/Bachmann ticket in 2012. I'm surprised they didn't hire him on the spot to be their campaign manager.

The full interview can be seen here, if you can bear to go through with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_SdBl942nU">Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6EnOW09qcU">Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGU3U4154i0">Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huHYIAkvEgM">Part 4

Gawker on this...

Sarah Palin-Michele Bachmann 2012?

If Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann ran together in 2012, would their T-shirts be made of tiny poison-tipped knives? Tonight, Sean Hannity raised the specter of a Palin-Bachmann ticket. Palin liked the idea, and the crowd went wild!

Tonight, Hannity was live at Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann's Real America BBQ and Family Fun Fair in Minneapolis. ($10,000 got you a picture with the two!) There was some funny analogy about how Obama limiting U.S. nuclear weapons use was like telling a playground bully to beat you up because you weren't going to hit him back. (Which would make sense only if you then pointed to an enormous cache of conventional weapons and stealth bombers and tanks that you had lying next to the jungle gym and said, "except with all of this stuff.")

Then, when Hannity asked Sarah Palin about a Palin-Bachmann ticket she said, "Now that sounds kinda cool." Let us translate Sarah Palin's folksy way of talking for you. What she really said was: "I would like to formally announce my candidacy for the 2012 presidential campaign. Let me introduce your future vice president: Michele Bachmann."

Palin-Bachmann 2012. Really rolls off the tongue, right into the pit of the stomach, then out the sphincter in a fear-colored turd! But very strategic, if you think about it: Sarah Palin would be able to appeal to the inner three circles of Hell with her nonsensical commonsense rhetoric, and Bachmann could win over the outer six with her virulent anti-health care campaigning. But why not Bachmann-Palin? Shoot, it's too hard to choose: Let's just elect them both as co-presidents.

Tarryl Clark smashes fundraising record

By Matt Snyders, Wednesday, Apr. 7 2010

Categories: Michele Bachmann

As Michele Bachmann joins forces with Sarah Palin this afternoon to mobilize the teabaggin' faithful, Bachmann's challengers are showing signs of vitality.

As we noted yesterday, Bachmann-challenger Tarryl Clark, a state senator from St. Cloud, brought her fundraising total up to $1.1 million after scoring $505,000 in the first three months of this year alone-- nearly double what DFLer Elwyn Tinklenberg had raked in this time last election cycle.

Clark's feat is even more impressive when put in larger context. Her campaign has shattered the Minnesota U.S. House fundraising record for first quarter of an election year, Smart Politics, the U of M's politics blog, reports today. Her $505,000 surpasses Republican Rep. Erik Paulsen's previous high-water mark by more than $120,000.

Clark bears a striking resemblance to Bachmann.

2. Palin lives her gerunds.
She's the only person I know who starts pretty much every phrase with a "And (insert gerund here)..." It's one of the things that makes her speech seem stilted and awkward. Not to mention the hateful, vitriolic, false, pandering words that tend to complete the phrase.

As for Bachmann...she is very charismatic to the most dangerous element in this country. Where did these people come from? Now the southern states are reviving Confederate patriotism...when did we get so whacked out? Make no mistake...there are many people who think that the South didn't lose the Civil War. They think the decision has been deferred until the South can rise again. 150 years later and the divisions are still there. It's a raw wound that gets peeled open year after year by exploitative politicians looking for a personal edge.

20. Now the southern states are reviving Confederate patriotism...when did we get so whacked out?
You mean ONE state... VA.... has embarrassingly and critically made April "Confederate Month".... ignoring slavery AT FIRST, but quickly rethought that when it was pointed out as not only offensive, but down right stupid? Is that what you mean?

Otherwise, the Southern States (including mine) have always stoked "Confederate patriotism" to some degree since before 1861 and onward.

4. Sarah doesn't want to be president
She just wants to be a princess. She doesn't want to do any real governance. She just likes the adulation of the crowd, the attention of the cameras and the tiara.

9. it's an ego trip ...
wasn't there a quote by Bush43 saying he didn't want to be President, a while back?

For Republicans, it's not about doing good for your country ... it's about POWER ...

7. Must-see TV: "Tina Fey confirms she plans to spoof Sarah Palin . . .
. . . on this week's SNL." (From the MSNBC crawl.)

My favorite observation on Palin was this one, from Dick Cavett:

"She doesn't seem to have a first language."

10. Good Lord.. Clark does not look like Palin
She looks real, and not covered in paint. She has a much more real smile.

She is a very strong and intelligent woman and was working hard for the working class people of the state. It will be sorry to lose her to the Federal level but the people of District 6 will be very fortunate. She will help get things done that Bachman neglected.
there are a lot of people out of work and losing their homes in District 6 so she is needed now.

Bachman has damaged District 6 more than people could imagine.

16. I was just going by the article's picture, I thought it was a photo of Bachmann at first glance
And it wasn't meant as an insult to her character. I hope she totally destroys Bachmann in the election and gets the opportunity to help the people of District 6. It kind of reminds me of Dorothy defeating the wicked witch.

On a side-note, someone needs to tell her to add tags to her YouTube videos so they get more views. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbepWLcpfeM">This one, for example, only has 83 views and it was posted over 2 weeks ago. I'd have added this suggestion as a comment but they've been disabled, unfortunately.
