2. No hate and racism there........
These isolated incidents are isolated at all tea bagger events.
So, foxnoise, take a fuckin nap.

But they bused in 99.9 % from out of state.

17. not as much as the news told everyone.
It was a small venue for the area. we figured maybe 2,000 at most. After Palin left there were about 150 people left.

4. The 'singing' was gawd awful, but it would be nice
to have the lyrics, just to know what they were 'singing' about while that Obama flag with a bullet hole was being displayed.

7. Oh it sounded like the old obligatory "freedom ain't free" refrain..
The usual heartfelt event song choices to go along with murderous wingnut fantasies..

These people are so fucking grotesque.

9. Chicken-little afraid to show his face.
Nation of morons. I'm not surprised there were 9000. There are a LOT of crazy hillbillies in this country. Red necked goat ropers. They're everywhere. I have nine siblings, and FIVE of them are right wing nut balls. We grew up not even discussing politics, but as some gained wealth, they decided to go repukkke to give them this "feeling" of protecting their wealth from others. Scum suckers.

12. Apparently, these morons are of the opinion that the more flags you fly, the "patrioticer" they are
Talk about insecurity issues. Probably a lot of their issues with having a black man as president come from that...

These people are f*cking nuts, good grief.

15. I took the video
As we walked through the crowd I noticed someone with the flag but did not notice the bullet hole in it. As I walked around I ran into the vendor selling the flags and noticed the bullet hole, I was taken aback, so I started taking pictures, asked him how much, and paid him $5 for one of flags because I did not think my friends would believe me.

23. tea bagger rally
I only brought a digital camera and couldn't take too much video because of the card size. There were a lot of vendors, one was charging $5 to get a picture of yourself throwing a fake Harry Reid in a dumpster. On the way in we did see a lot of expensive cars parked all over the place. A few junkers here and there but mostly new or expensive models and lots of $100k+ motor couches. It gave us a feeling of "I got mine, screw you!".

When I walked around I noticed most of the people there were normal looking Americans that (under normal circumstances)you would see in a local park on any sunny week end. The only difference were these people were holding signs about Socialism, Marxism, Fox News, don't tread on me, and all the signs you see on the news. There were a lot of people with signs I could respect, they had signs that, in one way or another, said they will chanel their anger with their vote. It was obvious they were trying to tone down the violent talk. Unfortunately, they were few and far in between. I did see a stereotypical looking grandma, I stood next to her and asked, "How's it going?", she said "I'd be better if that Obama wasn't trying to bankrupt our county!". Whoa, didn't expect that! I nodded my head and quietly slipped into the crowd.

As the crowd got smaller at the end, the only ones left were the hardcore Tea Baggers. Like a seedy bar at closing time it got kinda scary, that's when we left.

At the end of it all my thoughts were that besides the radical Tea Baggers, the rest were people who were angry and someone (take your pick who) had capitalized on that anger by manipulating them into behavior contrary to their own best interests and/or behavior.

24. Thank You
I created Politic Vic for my friends, both liberal and conservative. To make the liberals laugh and to make the conservatives think. It's also a great way to vent my frustration with todays politics.

25. I wish
I went there because i was curious, i only brought my digital camera with a limited memory card. Of course in hindsight I should have video taped him as well as got his business card. I did take some panoramic images of the venue because one of the speakers said there were 30,000 people there that day. NO WAY that many people fit on that property. Here's the link to the image..

the reason I made the second video with pictures is because people were saying I made it up.

31. It's not a matter of people saying you made it up....

It's just that you want to be sure you nail this kind of thing down, to avoid the accusation.
