This is just ugly and arrogant. They want to "ruffle feathers".

There is a name the Republicans have given their attempts to actually cause outrage and make people angry....it is called "controlled controversy"...

Immigration only sparks anger and outrage from certain parts of the population. And it makes for awesome distraction of the press.

Since the Republicans can't talk honestly about:

Iraq/Afghanistan
the Gulf Coast (post Katrina)
Health Care
Pollution
Food Safety
the Economy
Educational Standards
Etc...

They have to create noise. Right now it's immigration. Soon it will be the abortion/homosexual/flag burning again.
