1. Hillary and Obama are members of the Senate
Perhaps they did not want to answer questions on impeachment because they could conceivably have to vote on a conviction measure at some point. Also the words of a future president might be used against them in case of a future potential impeachment. Personally, I think the latter observation (words might be used against the candidate who later becomes president during that candidate's presidency could be a good thing).

13. I am not so interested about a senator's political future....
... as I am with the future of this country.

Hillary and Obama are both political animals.

15. Hillary and Obama may fear that Republicans would demand they recuse themselves
from voting on conviction if they now state they think Bush or his officials should be convicted. Edwards and Kucinich are not in the Senate so they can respond more fully on the impeachment questions.

28. A simple answer to that: If the people of the United State feel (and apparently they do) that
impeachment is necessary, the House should start impeachment procedures, investigation, charges, etc.

Once the impeachment trial begins, the Senate will hear the evidence and decide whether or not Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney should be removed.

And fabulous result.

Remember the new media is the media - your effort with the posting on YouTUbe affects so many.

But one thing - you say that no candidate for President is mentioning impeachment... Surely that was a slight lapse -as Kucinisch is working hard on this issue - and has the Resolution for the Impeachment of Dick Cheney up and running

I must have forgot to thank him for his efforts at the end, I did it by memory so I forgot!

You are right. A note will be added to amend that!

24. My allegiance just shifted from Edwards to Kucinich.
Edited on Fri Jul-27-07 05:53 PM by Seabiscuit
In 2004 Edwards was completely out of step with the people about the war, the most important issue of that day, as he continued to try to justify his vote in favor of the Iraq War Resolution. Now in 2007 he's completely out of step with the people on the most important issue of today, impeachment. I'm beginning to think that when it comes to the really big, important, and necessarily controversial issues, he's a compromising moral coward.

Conventional wisdom about "electability" be damned - I'm going with principle from now on.

11. Well Said - We must keep the pressure on!
The congress will not grow a spine. They have their reasons but it is up to the people to continue to announce the illegitemacy of the Bush presidency.

Thanks for the video - some certainly are fighting the good fight!

14. When they fear they will lose their jobs, they will do something

But, they are so arrogant. Since its a two party system, their attitude is what are they going to do, vote Republican....

We have to stand up & run candidates against those who do not do the people's work, or be forever in the trap of never having true representation.

...thank you Debbie. Both Bush and Cheney must be stopped from doing further harm and impeachment is the only way that can be accomplished. Keep up the courage your messages are important. It is also okay to get angry :kick:

17. Nice video
I cannot understand why the Democrats keep talking about "wasting time" by impeaching when his defiance of their power makes anything they DO a waste of time! It just boggles the mind that they are so oblivious to their worthlessness under this administration without oversight.

The question is whether they want to waste time having their laws ignored while their power is being diminished or if they want to "waste time" ensuring that their laws are abided by while maintaining their co-equal status. Isn't this a no brainer? What am I missing?

18. It isn't surprising. After what happened with the past two presidential elections

And, the huge amount of OBJECTIVE & FACTUAL evidence to show the elections were fraudulent...what did we get????

DEAFENING SILENCE!

21. Isn't it maddening?
People who are supposed to represent you, refuse to act as you would when cheated. I would not shrug my shoulders and say "whatever" to someone else breaking the law to my detriment! As a matter of fact, I have no idea HOW those stupid Diebold machines even made it into the public realm! ATM's give receipts, but what we vote on doesn't and the Democrats shrug this off too. It's no wonder that the wingnuts consider us losers! (Not that their opinion of us means much to me, but I really can't refute this point with our present representatives who are arguing over a wet towel, when a tidal wave is about to wipe them AND us into oblivion.

19. YES, YES, YES!
I think the media is avoiding that question because it would uncover the fact that they faild the American people! By not reporting the real issues before we went to war! IMPEACH BUSH NOW!

submitted that they didn't use? Well with all my volume up, I couldn't hear it very well.

My first impression - it was WAY too long. Maybe they couldn't hear it either.

Just a thought.

You done good. I hope this is seen far and wide. It is a bit long for those of short attention span though. Could you shorten it up by reading a script maybe? Keep all the info - just delete the pauses may have the same effect.

29. Not Censored. Ignored. There is a BIG and important difference
it still boggles my mind that people don't really understand what censorship actually means. By claiming censorship when it isn't there the term is diluted.
