I followed the "Billionaires for Wealthcare" around as they cheered alongside the 1.75 hundred-million people that showed up for the anti-healthcare reform rally organized by Michele Bachmann and the Republican caucus on November 6, 2009.

The Billionaires are known for their light-hearted, fun way of poking fun at the conservative message. Unfortunately, what is often lost in the press they generate is the dangerousness of the environments they put themselves in. Once the tea-baggers figure out what is going on, things can get ugly in a hurry.

This video culls just a few of the edgier moments from the November 5th adventure.

when she condemned the 'college kids' at the end, before the video cut off: anti-intellectual reverse snobbery. I first encountered it back in the Vietnam War era, when know-nothings who didn't have the wherewithal, the ambition, or the intellectual curiosity to attend college, would condemn those who wanted to get an education as 'overeducated dumbasses.' I see things haven't changed.

during these confrontations - and you know they will keep occurring. The last thing we need at this point is violence, and gawd forbid one of these teabaggers get their false teeth shoved down their throat and become instant martyrs for their cause. Things could go downhill in a hurry if an elderly person were to get injured at one of these sideshows. Undecided people could become more sympathetic to the teabaggers if a 'little old lady' got hurt - nevermind that she may have been woofing her horrible breath into someone's face beforehand, spitting and cursing. What matters is the exposure her injury would receive afterward and the sympathy it could generate.

Maybe I need to shut up about this; don't want to give FAUX or the minions in Dick's Armey any ideas for a 'false flag' operation.

23. One man is displaying a military ID

The pause shots at 4:47, 4:48, 4:49 show his ID and "Clearance" Security Entry badge pretty clearly. I just can't make out the smaller details. I'm sure the person with the camera has got a clear shot of it. I wonder what a military person was doing there in the middle of the day and how did he get excused to attend the rally? If he's on LEAVE, nothing wrong there. But if he's attending a rally during his duty day, he's stealing money from the taxpayer. He probably told his superior that he was going to a medical appointment (that would be Government Health care)

More telling, was the woman who stepped back, the one from Staten Island, as soon as they shouted, "No Medicare, no government handouts". Her sudden reaction to reality was very telling, it looked like she got kicked in the gut.

The goomer w/the hat and beard was about as offensive as they get. Big military man, who I'm sure never made it much further than PFC, using the VA or Medicare, and not being capable of understanding that those are both government run health care plans.

4000 people on the Mall is a pretty small crowd anyway, especially since they were bussed in in droves...

That is really where all hell broke loose. I knew it would happen eventually. Somebody had to tell these idiots that the billionaires for healthcare are not on their side, but just making fun of their stupidity. When they found out, they would be really pissed. Honestly, I am astounded at how well the Billionaires handle themselves. As Dirty Dawg says, I would have succumbed to my tendency toward violence and used that champagne bottle on one of those fuckwads. However, you can make fun of them--by thanking them for helping the billionaires and making jokes
about yachts, caviar and writing the healthcare bill themselves.

Just checked Fox Gossip and the latest headline is Dems headed for civil war over health care. Except the Move On's version is different from Republicans. We vote different people in instead of changing one's mind in the middle. (where's Charlie Crist.. oh I never supported the stimulus.. really. so why was he standing next to Obama support the stimulus) thats where you've got the Conservative Party and the Republican Party.

Our version is still going to remain the Democratic Party. There's moderate Dems then there's Conservadems. Like say Joe Lieberman.
