8. Wow, I didn't know about that movie! Very powerful
emotion and justifiable outrage from Vincent Pugliosi. And I like what Alan Derschowitz said about him. 'He - will - get - to - the - truth'. A prosecutor who if you're innocent, you want, and if you're guilty you do not want'.

He said 'give me a grand jury in any small town, and I promise you, things will change'. If only that could happen. He makes perfect sense, letting them get away with all those murders is unconscionable and will only embolden future criminals.

The soldier, halfway through, is right. While some of the troops are 'laying down their arms' they need the civilian population to back them up.

Kicked, and already rec'd. Everyone should see this ~ and we should not ever give up looking for justice and accountability of those who are guilty.

11. the fault, dear Brutus...
While it may make you feel better to punish GW, that does not change the fact that people KNEW when Dick Cheney was fixing the intelligence, Congress knew, the media knew and you and I who are aware citizens knew, and did nothing, no not nothing, cheer-leaded him into war and let him (and his brother) steal an election.

Passing your collective guilt onto GWB does not absolve anyone of that responsibility.

13. Your premise is wrong, a leader is responsible, that's why he's the leader
A Captain goes down with his ship, we've gotten so used to Bush taking no responsibility
for anything that went wrong that it's permeated a false understanding of leadership

14. You may have cheered him on, but I certainly did not
nor did millions of other people. I feel no guilt for other people's crimes. Bush was merely the front for the criminal organization that committed the crimes, but he is responsible. He was in a position to say no. But he agreed with them, so that was never going to happen.

Just what do you think people could have done, considering that back then, we still thought we lived in a democracy. Blame the right, they were on board, they are the ones who made it impossible for those who opposed the crimes, to be able to stop them. Fear drove the people, lies, fear-mongering that was impossible to overcome as they used 9/11 to instill terror in the American people.

I'd like to hear what you were doing since you appear to feel so superior to those of us who did whatever we could to try to stop them.

20. I was well aware of the PNAC manifesto and opposed the war from the outset.
The Fourth Estate completely failed the American citizens in REFUSING to challenge the Bush-Cheney administration and inform the American public of the clearly detailed intentions of this criminal enterprise to invade Iraq long before they stole the election with the aid of the Supreme Court.

When the Republican thugs bused in people to disrupt the recount in Florida where were the police? Where was the press? The Republic is in serious trouble because one of the most import institutions for maintenance of the Republic has been turned into a propaganda machine for corporate interest. I don't look for Bush and Cheney to be prosecuted any time in the near future simply because the Fourth Estate will not allow it to happen and will smother this baby in its crib with their refusal to inform the citizens.

12. I've Always Thought Treason Was The Appropriate Charge
Against Bush. Although such would be both appropriate and viscerally satisfying, it is incorrect. Case law regarding murder is more settled and easier to apply.

I am a veteran who volunteered for Vietnam. Like many others, I spent the last 5 years of the Bush administration ashamed of the actions of my country. A bitter pill to swallow. Especially knowing the service record of the decision makers.

Mr. Bugliosi's actions are to be applauded because, whether successful or not, they reassert our principles.

16. nothing defers prosecution so well as success
no part of the us gov has yet said that the iraq mission is a bad thing
not even the post office
bugliosi is a fantasist
a military adventure will not result in the prosecution of its executor until at least one part of the government
calls it a failure
following failure, the charges used to condemn are arbitrary
it is an absolute certainty that you will see us leaving iraq in defeat before bush is prosecuted for anything

The only problem I have is he always uses 100K as the death toll when it has been over 10 times that. However, I back Mr. Bugliosi 100%.

Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and three time #1 New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi stars in this most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking documentary.

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.

As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.

A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.

Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.

Let's hope he can do the same to the Bush Crime Family. They make Manson look like a fucking choirboy.

33. isn't this old news? hate to be a skeptic because I'd love to see monkeyface and dickface in prison
but Bugliosi presented this case 3 years ago, wrote a book, and now we get a movie? why not a prosecution? As Bugliosi says in the trailer "all i need is a grand jury in small town in America to bring charges" So if it's that simple, why hasn't he done it? Is it because he doesn't actually have an airtight case? Is he just trying to get publicity to bolster his career? So here we get a movie that rehashes arguments made 3 years ago. I heard nothing new in the trailer that i haven't heard already. Forget the career building movie, bring on the grand jury and let's see if he actually has a legal case that can proceed.
