Gil Smart notes how the media has jumped to the defense of Fox News in a misguided attempt to show how "fair and balanced" they can be.

1. Well said.
ANY critique of Fox, Conservativism or Republicanism by ANY media outlet is slammed as being "Liberal media bias." Meanwhile, a Dem administration doing PRETTY MUCH what a Rep admin did opens the floodgates to references to Nixon, Hitler, Pol Pot, etc.

But let's remember, while Obama may be freezing out Fox in specific, he has allowed "conservative media" into the White House to interview him and his administration. Baby Bush, on the other hand, froze out not only NBC and MSNBC, but also ANY AND ALL "liberal media" personalities who would've liked to interview Bush or his administration.
