6. She's running against an unknown independent
who's a local community activist.

She's been in for eight years, and the city has absolutely nose dived.

And to be honest, she's a poor spokesperson for the city. As soon as the election is over she starts dressing like Elton John for three years, until election time again.

Plus, she's a corporate Democrat in my estimation.

4. Who is this ad in support for, and who is it sponsored by?
And how am I to know they'll do anything different than what they're accusing this McLin of having caused? In my experience, the Right-wing routinely accuses their opponents of the exact problems they themselves cause.

5. I hope that the people designated as creeps, etc. are either
actors or gave their permission to be filmed because if not, there is a problem here. If I were Rhine McLin, I would try to find some of the people in the movie and tell their stories publicly. If the people are just actors, I would point out that the opposition financed an expensive movie about the problems of Dayton but has done nothing to help improve the city and that the opposition lies to boot. Who hires actors for a political ad of this type? If these people weren't actors, why are they doing what they are doing?

you can see those "actors" everywhere.

11. You can't just film people and use them for profit in a political film without their permission
You need to get releases, I believe. I could be wrong about this, but I think you have to get releases.

12. It's not for profit
just a youtuber who made a video from personal photos. No profit involved. Just pure political speech.

10. HA!
There's less than two weeks before the election.

I'm thinking the creep was the guy covered in tattoos walking a pit bull down the middle of the street while the kids getting off the bus stare scared shitless.

That's what Dayton is really like in too many places.

8. Just a reminder that NOT ALL Democrats are good at governing. That said, I have no idea
if Rhine McLin is doing her job or just collecting a paycheck.

But it is a powerful ad.

9. I almost always vote Democrat

but to be honest, I won't be this time.

She's just not a dynamic personality, whatsoever (and Dayton needs a strong leader). The other guy is a long time neighborhood activist, and home true urban homesteader.

Dayton needs something different, and she's not it.
