I can understand some of the arguments saying Obama has not been in office that long, etc., but THIS??!

12. It would be a whole lot better if...

...the right started with the premise that their party (Bush, Cheney, etc) started the Iraq invasion which killed 200,000; or 400,000; or 800,000; or 1 million Iraqis. Whatever number we come up with for civilian deaths, it still needs to be a starting point before they forget all that and turn to that "evil" Obama and what he "has planned for us" down the pike.

I actually talk with a lot of right wingers at work and in my daily life, so the conclusion I draw is that the sentiment in this video above, and the sentiments expressed by a lot of the teabaggers that get interviewed at demonstrations, are based in absolute fear. Some here call it irrational. To my view, it seems a big stretch that, because in human history people have been exterminated by the millions, our government would turn on us. This is the degree of hate and partisan thinking we have seen manifest in the past decade.

9. I did post a warning.

Albeit, I did a few minutes later. I understand you may not feel this video is appropriate, conspiracy subject matter is inappropriate, etc. It does not come from a conspiracy website, however.

Still, this video reveals some of the sentiments that are out there on the right wing, and people have been posting tea-party footage that shows some similar mindsets. So when I came across it, I felt it should be passed along.

When I initially wrote under the video..."now THIS?" I felt I was being terse in saying the video content was extreme. ...Then went to make a pot of coffee and came to the conclusion that (even though the black and white footage seems to be of a documentary origin that students of history have seen quite a lot), it needed an explicit warning.
