I don't watch Scarborough, but isn't he a Republican himself?

1. I actually don't think Rush"is too smart"
I think by and large these people are so consumed with hate that they have lost it. it is very similar to when a man or women kills their spouse for revenge(OJ comes to mind)

2. No actually Rush is very smart

He doesn't care about winning he cares about his audience size and his personal income.

He makes a lot more money when a Democrat is in power than he does when the Republicans are in power.

He knows that Obama is going to be reelected and this way he gets to stand on the sidelines and rake in the money.

Now if it is going to be a close election and the Republicans had a chance, he might take a different tone as a team player but now hell a scortched earth tone gets his listeners riled up and they can't get enough of it.

Limbaugh....

Whenever I hear the pigman's rants I think of a 13 year old racist, hateful spoiled lying fucking brat, always have, always will - Paul Krugman is right on the money!!

8. normally I agree
but Rush has said that you can't control love. Of course the axiom to that is you can't control hate and he has moved into full blooded hate just like the other nutcases. this is beyond the normal response and completely nuts.

9. "can't control love"

well this is funny, that maybe the most sensible thing he has ever said. lol

Rush says lots of completely idiotic things, and he may or may not believe them. My very narrow point is that when he positions himself so far to the right that only a narrow but loyal group support him, its not a losing proposition for him.
