My response to Kirk:

Dude, this is not cool. Your video starts from an argument built on lies. Do you think God wants you to deceive people in His name? If you don't think God and evolution are compatible, then your God is far more limited and small than the one I believe in. Sorry, pal, but our puny minds were never meant to wrap themselves around the true meaning and majesty of the Almighty. If you think you can gain a literal, simple-to-understand understanding of God by reading Genesis, you miss the point.

4. what people have to understand is this -- Conservative Christians have NO problem with LYING.
as long as the LIE in their search for Christian Power as they understand it -- it's ok.

you, me -- whatever -- meat for the grinder. and that is all that counts.

there. is. NO. honesty . with. these. creatures. not even the point.

7. great, another thing to blame schools for...

NOW we're causing atheism to be on the rise.... don't these kids who want to crack a bible have parents?? Are we in the public schools really influencing their children that much?

In my school, kids who belong to different church groups wear their t-shirts with Bible sayings to school, no problem.

But yeah, it's all our fault. Again.

12. I really hated the kids in school
who fucked with me because I didn't share their Christian views. Asking them to keep that stuff at home is not a bad thing.

13. Just so much bullshit
In a 1950 letter to M. Berkowitz, Einstein stated that "My position concerning God is that of an agnostic. I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment."<2> from wiki

College student never having a chance to learn about creationism before they meet college professors - the bull just keeps rolling

Maybe the reason atheism and agnosticism is rising is because people are getting smarter.

16. People are not getting smarter, but
Atheism and agnosticism are rising in reaction to the stupid, rigid fundamentalism of idiots like Kirk Cameron.

They say "if you don't believe exactly what I believe, with no variation, then you might as well be an atheist." The response from a lot of people is: "Well, OK, then. I guess I am an atheist."
