"Reliable Sources" host Howard Kurtz had his own "two cents" in response to Faux News' newspaper ad claiming that CNN "missed" the story of the 9/12 Soreloserpalooza in Washington.

Kurtz then showed video of a Faux News producer "whipping up the crowd" behind Griff Jenkins at a tea party rally.

"What you just saw amounts to choreographing a story to get people hollering," Kurtz said, adding that the producer was "disciplined... who made a mistake." "That's for sure," Kurtz responded.

apply to the corporatemediawhores or their toadies in office.

11. What about all the other times FOX has manipulated to incite?
It is deceptive and wrong to distort to advance any agenda. Esp. when you claim to be credible.:spank:

6. It's all an illusion of size
without these organized protests (straight out of the Bernays playbook) the money influencing policy in DC would be to great a slap in the face to even the casual observant.

Edited on Sun Sep-20-09 02:02 PM by krkaufman
Oh, the producer was over the line, but there's no problem with Fox News creating and promoting the event. Sheesh.

20. As the White House says..faux is an "ideological outlet"
"Fox is an ideological outlet where the president has been interviewed before and will likely be interviewed again," Earnest said. "Not that the whining particularly strengthens their case for participation any time soon."

10. How is this reporting? Fox should be ashamed!!
How is this reporting?

Its so obvious that fox is trying to create news instead of reporting the news.

This is clear evidence of agenda driven journalism.

FOX should no longer call themselves a news station. They should be called a political organization/corporation that distorts the news to fit their agenda.

This producer is the only producer who got caught on camera. Which raises the question . How many other instances of this has occurred.

Can't recall the last name of that "inexperienced" producer but methinks Heidi **** has just discovered that one of the jobs of the new kid is to be at the end of their little game of crack the whip.

17. Faux News reporter Griff Jenkins (is that his real name?) was at
the A.N.S.W.E.R. anti-war rallly in Washington D.C. on Sep 13, 2007 at Lafayette Park, interviewing various participants in the protest. He never identified himself as a FOX "reporter." had no FOX ID on his microphone, and his cameraman had no FOX stickers on his gear. Was Jenkins asking people why they were protesting the war in Iraq? No, of course not; he wanted to know if the "Petraeus Betrayus" ad was over the top. Never mind the death and destruction of a country that never attacked the US. Never mind the loss of our young people in this questionable war. Never mind the lies and deceptions to get us into the war.

When Jenkins finally admitted he was with FOX, the people he interviewed were outraged. "I NEVER watch FOX!" was heard a few times.

Jenkins is a tool, and this funny business with cueing the crowd response is just more FOX bullshit.

..inciting the public to riots and possible cause of civil strive maybe a civil war. They have gone too far....the station that is fair and balanced. Is this treasonous? Usining journalizts to create potential racial/civil war??? This is wrong, and the FBI, secret service and CIA..whoever has commection should arrest and prosecute.
