If they were Faux, the lady would have gazed at the reporter with puppy dog eyes and professed her love.

9. You are right but the reporter could see that he was becoming part of the ..
.... story and not the one who was covering it ... Granted those people seemed like intolerant jerks but
turning off the camera and walking a few feet outside of the conference into the hall or something
might have been the smart move. After all 99% of the people see that reporter as "the enemy" no need
to give "them" any more ammunition ..... what I fail to understand why the fringe of a minority gets all
this free pub .... from the 9/12ers, the birthers, and the tea baggers .... why not cover the
people who think that UFO's are listening to their brainwaves?

14. Sure he could have stopped the report and changed locations...
but those people were completely rude. He was on live television and they knew that. They could have waited for him to finish his report and then asked him not to do anymore reporting in that location. Those people were 1) jackasses, 2) didn't like MSNBC reporting what they were reporting and 3) wanted to look tough and righteous on live television. I would have insisted on continuing the report just like he did. It wasn't his fault he was put in a location that would disturb other guests.

17. You are right these are mean spirited jackasses who think God loves 'em ...
.... more than other people and i have no doubt that the press people told the reporter he
could stand there for his report but it is kinda like having food in camp when bears are around ....
you might be better to hang it from a tree an avoid the trouble.

They were standing where they were invited to stand.

On the other hand remember if you're organizing a bunch of * is there anyway to not end up having them look like * on live TV.

4. Wow
Maybe I am going on wishful thinking but I think this is going to be the undoing of the hyper right wing of the Republican Party and not even so much the interruptors which is rich considering they spent the better part of a month going into town halls and shouting, but what Mike Huckabee said. No one except the wingnuts and conspiracy goons is buying the death panels anymore but he is still going to the well. What a dishonest douchebag.

Why setup while someone is giving a speech? In all fairness, I'd be bothered if he were in the lecture hall while I was trying to listen. The reporter was obnoxious.

12. It's common practice for reporters to broadcast
during speeches at conferences.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jon Stewart finds plenty of footage to prove this in his next Daily Show.

15. Your typical intolerant dickheads who want a little facetime on TV.
Nothing unusual at all with these type of live updates in the back of a room while a speech is being given. They are where they are asked to do their reporting. The only difference is that this crowd is the essence of intolerance. They hate the media because they shine a light on their claverns. If these dickheads had a problem, they should have complained to the event organizers who decide where the TV reporters do their live broadcasts.

No, it was people many rows away who felt the need to get up. Anyone been near a live shot? You can barely hear them speak even standing right near them and this guy was whispering.

22. I noticed that the people closest to the reporter never even glanced at him. Their attention
was focused up front. The three people who accosted the reporter were from several rows away.

And pretty miss blackhair kept looking at the camera. All she needed was a sign that said "Hi Mom!"

24. Freedom of the Press
Yeah, had it been Fox News they would have been clamoring for Autographs... But Right wingers are so paranoid they think that the "Liberal Media" is out to get them. In a country that allows people to nearly get away with anything, from wearing a gun to a rally to Shouting "You Lie" at the President, these people think there is no boundary lines any more. Thats the problem... Thanks to 8 years of George W. Bush... Freedom of the Press means being put in a restrictive zone .. because they can't have the media be intrusive into their little events.

Well clearly, they want no coverage of the event. Maybe the networks should just show
these interruptions and say screw it, to the event itself. If its not covered, oh well.. too bad.
